Some of the links in my blog posts are affiliate links. I will make a small amount of money if you click the link, or click the link and buy the product (it depends on which affiliate it is). Unless the article specifically says I received a free evaluation copy or was compensated for a product review by the owner of the product, I was neither. I primarily review items I have purchased, or are free for everyone (or were at the time I reviewed them). If I am ever fortunate enough to have enough impact in the blogosphere to have companies offer to send me things to review, I will make that explicit at the top of the blog post.
The link to Buy Scrivener is an affiliate link. I receive a small amount of money if you click this link to purchase Scrivener, and clicking this link does not increase the price of the product to you when you buy it. I use Scrivener for all of my writing projects. I paid full price for Scrivener version 1, and upgraded to (and paid the upgrade price for) versions 2 and 3. I did not receive a copy from Literature and Latte, and they have never sent me anything to review. I recommend Scrivener to just about any writer, without reservation.
